Basic Flash Sautee

( Sorry I haven't changed recipies in a while.  The cauliflower was in high demand)

Choose your favorite dark leafy green vegetable like kale, collard greens, bok choy, swiss chard, etc. Trim the ends of your veggie, cut into bite sized pieces and let soak for 5-8 minutes (or longer if you are busy doing something else) in a large bowl with my Magic Veggie Wash; 1/2 tsp vitamin C powder and 1/2 tsp grapefruit seed extract.

When soaking is complete, heat a medium sized skillet to hot, very hot. Add cleaned greens directly from the cleaning bowl. This will add enough water to freshly steam your veggies. Sprinkle some salt on your greens and cover for about 3 minutes, turning the greens periodically. Bok choy will need  another minute or so. When your greens have turned a gorgeous dark green color, you are ready to plate them. Turn off your heat and transfer the greens to your dish. At this point, add your extra virgin olive oil and lightly toss. You're ready to enjoy a new taste treat.  For variety, please add sunflower seeds, pumkin seeds, or nuts, if you like. This is a delicious meal when a protien is added, or a fabulous side dish to any main course.
